Marco Teatro

Marco Teatro (1968) is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Milan.

He was a pioneer of the "street art" in Italy from 1986 to the mid-2000s, he never stopped exploring and practicing new artistic disciplines.

During his 30 plus year career, Teatro has accumulated a multitude of experiences in various artistic, craft, and manual sectors:

he was a set designer and builder for the theater, he made several videos, advertisements, installations, and more.

Teatro was also the creator and curator of the HIU event - Happening International Underground - which was attended by over a thousand artists from all over the world, for a total of nine editions from the 1990s to 2003.

Reflecting on his collaboration with Lazarus, he says:
“I don't set limits, dimensions, surfaces, space, environment, architectural scale. I accept all challenges; now more than ever I am looking for compatible solutions between art and the environment. "
