A few months ago, while I was walking in via Giosuè Carducci near the Cadorna station (Milan), my eyes focused on a person who intrigued me very much. She was sitting on the floor and all her attention was on a small bookmark she was painting. She had such concentration that when I spoke to her she didn't answer me right away, she was like in another world.
When I asked her what she was doing she said: “I paint to earn my life honestly”.
When I left, I didn't know what surprised me: the fact that I had passed this street at least one hundred times without even noticing her or perhaps that her passion for painting reminded me so much of the artists who work with us for Lazarus ...
In a few months my gaze on this person has totally changed. And it allowed me to understand her words:
"[...] I will continue to paint to convey my art to everyone, with the hope that when people see the colors, they will open up a little bit." - Rosy
